I'm aware I'm constantly doing this, but I've been away for a while - again. I had a recent job change which gave me some time to take a break from life, and I spent a lot of time at home and with my family, back in Florianopolis. I'm ready to come back though, so sorry for all the people I constantly faved and commented for the disappearance, and a mass thanks for all the favs and watches <3
I usually do this on an individual basis, but there were too many *hurraaaaaay* so I'm just going to do it here instead.
Anyhu, you people rock.

Hello! I've disappeared for a while lately, I know. It's just now I've been really dedicating myself to my lovely kitty cat, who I named Sheldon (after Dr. Sheldon Cooper, from the Big Bang Theory - yes, I'm a nerd!). Also, I've been really working on my blog (it's in Portuguese, but just in case anyone out there speaks it, it's here: sofadalu.blogspot.com.br . Well, I've had a couple of book exchange events, and I'm working on a second, cooking blog now. I'm so excited about all these silly crazy things, and I haven't had any time to dedicate to my love of art (except for an insane amount of cat photos!). I'm actually even exercising, which is kinda crazy, as I'm a total couch potato!

Anyhu, I'll catch up eventually, to all those I follow. Know that I am having a great moment in life and I am super happy overall

I'm in love with my new baby cat. He's too cute

I never thought I'd become a cat lady, but I feel it coming in waves, and I don't think I can get rid of it lol. He's too cute and adorable, although he still doesn't have a name... I decided to keep him after all, he's super well behaved and we fell in love.

Hello my people!

I had an awesome January month! How about you?

It was my birthday on the 23rd and I had multiple celebrations, which made me gain like 2390482349 kilos Now it's time to get ready for the wonderful celebration that is Carnaval! I can't wait! I'm super excited and next week will probably drag itself to an end.. We have some pretty awesome plans, which I'll tell you to make you all jealous! Me and some of my people here from São Paulo are going to my hometown, Florianópolis, where we're staying at my dad's house. It's an awesome house close to the beach, we'll all squeeze in there but it'll be fun!

On Saturday (9th of Feb) there is a traditional Carnaval street party, which is called "Bloco dos Sujos". This means the Group of the Dirty. Doesn't make much sense until you find out that every single guy in town dresses up as a woman and goes out on the street. A lot of drunkeness and happyness. It's super funny. I should probably get a few good candids there!
Then on Sunday we're making a costume party! My costume is already at hand, so a new DeviantID will soon show up
On Monday evening there is another traditional street carnaval, where there is a small parade made by the locals from the neighborhood. This neighborhood is very old and traditional, called Santo Antônio. Picture small streets which aren't paved, they're still stone streets, and the ocean right in front... Beautiful and awesome.
Then on Tuesday we're going to have a game night, to wind down... all of this entertwined with trips to the beach, which is literally a block away!

Ok hope you're all jealous!
